When you can’t be here, there are several free online resources that will help you stay on top of the latest news from the Administration and the Hill. Many of these have breaking news e-mail alerts, so sign up and scoop your colleagues!
And if you’re serious about making an impact in DC, you’ll want to get your message directly to the decision-makers in Congress. It isn’t easy to stay on top of committee assignments, key staff, and contact information, so I use the CongressPlus smartphone app and highly recommend it.
