Punishing Putin Fuels Energy-Export Drive in Congress
As a result of Russia’s annexation of Crimea, the U.S. and international community have taken swift action to condemn the Kremlin, and Congress is considering loosening energy export restrictions in a move to lessen European dependence on Russian oil and gas, further punishing the superpower.
